I don't know if that's a typo in your email or not, but note that the
command is "Xwin -multiwindow", with a space; i.e., the command is
"Xwin", and "-multiwindow" is an option passed to it.

"Xwin_GL" may be deprecated;  I didn't see it in the last version of
Cygwin I downloaded.  The standard "Xwin" should be capable of handling
OpenGL calls.
