Presumably you will be even more overjoyed to know that I have an
actual fix for the error in version 7.3.112, which I just posted
to the opencircuitdesign.com website.  As mentioned in the last
email, this is the "simple solution" that allows correct behavior
for up to 64 planes, making it consistent with the definition of
MAXPLANES.

I don't know if I caught all the places where plane masks are
defined, but I assume any omissions will be found and corrected
within a couple of revisions.  Please let me know if you find
any remaining problems with magic's behavior handling a large
number of defined planes.
