BLT is a package for Tcl that you can probably find somewhere for the Mac.
However, in Magic it is used only for the window that gives a tree view
listing of cells, and Magic will work perfectly well without it.

 From your install log, it looks like the compile & install worked just fine.
I think the only problem here is that you are used to the Mac environment,
whereas this distribution is dependent on the fact that OS-X is really
just an implementation of UNIX, and very little has been done to the code
to make it more integrated with the Mac environment other than the minimum
amount necessary to get it to compile cleanly.  I'm not sure what passes for
a terminal or console window on the Mac, but if you can get a command-line
prompt, then you should be able to launch Magic by typing "/usr/local/bin/magic".

It sounds like you want a desktop icon to launch Magic, but setting that
up is beyond my limited range of knowledge about OS-X.

If you still have problems, then I strongly suggest that you post a
question to magic-dev at csl.cornell.edu, because there really are people
who read the email postings regularly, and who have solved these problems
before.
