Hallo,

Release 8.5 of my open source standard cell libraries can be downloaded from
http://www.vlsitechnology.org

This release has greatly improved the quality of the Magic views, tech
files, colour maps and extraction accuracy. All Magic info has been put into
one version 33 tech file instead of the multiple version 27 files. The kludge
that was previously necessary for extraction (involving scripts to hack the
extracted spice decks) has been removed.

I think the extraction parameters are typical for a 0.13um technology. I'm
documenting the methodology and will post the link here when done.

As before, the cells are drawn in Alliance Graal; read into Magic; spice
decks extracted and then characterised with winspice (which works in Linux with
wine). Schematics are drawn with Xcircuit and there is an on-line data book.

One note: You'll need version 7.5.95 or higher of Magic because the tech
file uses some of the latest tech file features.

Best regards, Graham Petley
