I was vice president (and the webmaster) of the Cornell Bhangra Club. A few year's ago (2002) we won 2nd place at the Michigan Bhangra Fusion and 1st place (among university teams) at a competition in Toronto. Brrruuuuuah!. And we took 2nd place at Bhangra Blowout in Washington, DC.

I went to Cornell as an undergrad as well, so obviously I think Ithaca is okay. Kind of a small town (though curiously the rent is still fairly high), but that's not all bad. Our group (the CSL) is really small, and all of the faculty are fairly young and laid-back, so working here is a pleasure. And the research is pretty neat, too.

I'm a sports addict. Being from the DC area, that means I have the misfortune of supporting the Redskins and the Wizards.
