You need to use a three button mouse and you need to comment out the Emulate3Buttons option in /etc/X11/XF86Config. It worked like a charm for me when I did that. I am running on Mandrake 7.0, but this is quite RedHat-like so I imagine the same solution should work for you. -Rob Penny (rob AT ucsd DOT edu) ps.
