    well, it depends what you mean by stacked vias, and it depends on whether
    the stacking is homogenous (same size/overlap per layer), and a few other
    things.  magic can handle homogenous stacking, some heterogenous cases,
    and cases where there's no constraint between vias of different layers
    (unconstrained "stacking").  but it certainly has trouble creating
    nice symbolic contacts when vias are offset, understandably.
