    ... finding Magic Developers!

    Hi All,

I know this is off topic but I'm currently looking for people who have the
following skill set for one of my clients in Chicago. Please let me know if
    you are interested.

    *	Strong knowledge of client server development, relational database
concepts, UNIX (Sun-Solaris), Oracle, SQL, and Magic 7.0 programming
    language.
    *	Work in accordance with the SCR system (System Change Request) for
    Annuity system.
    *	Implement enhancements to the Transcend (Annuity System Management)
    application.
    *	Prepare stored procedures, packages, functions and database
    triggers.
    *	Prepare reports through PL/SQL.
    *	Create tables, SQL queries and stored procedures to access Oracle
    database (Oracle 8.0).

This is a 1 year contract with benefits starting on 12/15/02 and will pay
anywhere from 55-75/hr DOE. Chances are our client will not be able to cover
relo but at 100K plus, it may be lucrative for you to live in the windy city
for a year and squirrel away some extra cash. If you are not interested, I'd
still appreciate your help in any way possible ... For example, what
companies in Chicago use Magic? Do you know any magic developers in Chicago
who may be interested in this opportunity?

Thanks for your help on my search and support of the small but valuable
    Magic community!

    Cheers,
    Ryan D. Cook
