I just installed magic 7.1 on my linux RH 9.1. The
compiling process seems OK except some warning. But
when I tried to follow the tutorial, I found that  I
could not even paint. I started with "magic tut1" as
the tutorial said. I had positioned the box on the
same window where the "tut1" cell appeared. But when I
press the middle button of the mouse. the message is :

The box isn't in a window on the edit cell.

and I also noticed that the "tut1" window showed that
it is not being edited. 

Does anybody know what I should do to be able to
proceed?
