Dear Anand, > Please select one of the above configurations by number [1]: 2 > if: Badly formed number > make: *** [config] Error 1 I have used some shell script syntax that works in Linux but is incompatible with Solaris. I fixed these instances in Magic but apparently have not done so in IRSIM (also, I have not gotten around to implementing GNU autoconf in IRSIM). Every instance of "==" in the file scripts/config should be changed to "=" to comply with Solaris shell syntax limitations. There are quite a few such lines in the IRSIM scripts/config file. I will fix the distribution, but a simple global substitution should allow you to complete the "make config". Since it is obvious that this has not been compiled on Solaris recently, I cannot guarantee that there won't be other Solaris incompatibilities. If you have other problems, let me know, and I'll try to respond to them right away. And yes, the magic-dev mailing list is the proper forum for IRSIM questions, as I don't think anyone uses IRSIM except as a simulation tool for magic. Regards, Tim
