I just tried buildling Magic on a fresh Debian testing/unstable box. I 
now get a dynamic link error, possibly caused by recent change in glibc. 
On running, wish reports;

couldn't load file "/usr/local/lib/magic/tcl/tclmagic.so": 
/usr/local/lib/magic/tcl/tclmagic.so: symbol errno, version GLIBC_2.0 
not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference

I can work around this by setting LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.0 in my 
environment, but there is some illegal use of errno in the code 
somewhere, which I didn't find yet.
