I have just posted a zip archive containing what I hope is everything
necessary to download and run Magic-7.2 under Windows XP (and
possibly others, though I haven't tried) using Cygwin and the Cygwin
X server (which now runs in the Windows desktop background).  Tht
package contains a version of Tcl/Tk that is different from the one
that comes with Cygwin in that it is compiled to run with X11 graphics
(no small feat), and therefore is compatible with Magic (including the
OpenGL version, although I am a bit confused about the operation of the
XWin_GL server).  Hopefully some people will try this out and I can
get some feedback on how easy or difficult it is to get magic up and
running following the instructions on the website.  The web page where
you can get the zip file and instructions is:

Click on the "Magic for Windows" button on the left-hand side of the
window.
