    Rajit,

I see you made some changes to the magic web page, including a move
(physical or virtual?) to vlsi.cornell.edu. Probably you should
announce this change to magic-dev so people can update any links to
your page (okay, so I'm CC'ing this to magic-dev, but only you know
exactly what's up with the web page changes).

Due to recent mailings to magic-dev from confused people, I have the
    following suggestions:

       1) Add instructions on how to subscribe to the mailing list. Put
this and the link to the mailing list archive under a recognizable
title. I believe there used to be instructions on how to subscribe
on the web page; either they or the link to them have disappeared.

       2) Put *all* links to magic sources (including 6.5, 7.0, 7.1, and CVS)
under the same heading ("Downloads", perhaps) and make it clear
which version is which (e.g., 7.1 is the most recent stable
distribution, CVS is bleeding-edge development source, and 6.5 and
7.0 are earlier versions, all the capabilities of which are
          included in 7.1).

Clarity is the key (that, and no animations)!
    							---Tim
