I've gotten magic-current to work for my on my Debian Linux laptop. I've had to comment out the line
	set gr_libs=("$gr_libs" -lbsd)
in the src/scripts/config file in order to get a successful compile.
Otherwise, congrats... it works great on x86 linux.
