I run:

:calma flat
:calma write xxx.strm
:calma write xxx.strm

Magic crashes (Segmentation fault (core dumped)) in the process of the
second write. Is this a known problem? I have tried quite a few cells, and
in all cases this happend except one. In that one case magic crashed in
the process of a third "calma write" following the first two.

Does everyone see this, or is there something wrong with my installation?
I am running magic 7.1. 

Can a tech file cause a crash?
