Dear Thiago,

   The naming conventions for magic are less than optimal (I would like
to fix that sometime), but the extension ".tech27" refers to the version
number of the techfile format;  therefore it is required.  Just change
your filename to "techcmos.tech27" and use the command line without the
extension, thus:  "magic -T techcmos", and everything should work (then
you get to debug your tech file).  Version information corresponding to
the contents of the tech file should be added to the "version ... end"
block in the file, not the filename itself.
