Hi Charles, > I dont want to seem argumentative, but, I know its not a dual painting > issue. Good. (Can't always tell how well someone can get around in Magic :-) Another possibility is that the cell already contains the DRV (design rule violation), and that the design rule checker hasn't been run on the cell yet. (This can happen if the cell was layed out with :drc off, or if the cell was designed using a different techfile). You can check this by placing the box around the entire layout, and running the command :drc check. > Would you mind looking at one of them if you get a chance at the Univ > Kans web site. The one I am concentrating on is invf100.mag (the > inverter). Actually, I would prefer if you directly e-mail me the .mag file(s) which has the DRV, and the Magic techfile (scmos.tech27 or whatever you are using). Then I can load exactly what you have and investigate where the DRV is coming from. Philippe Pouliquen The Johns Hopkins University
