    Good. (Can't always tell how well someone can get around in Magic :-)
    
    Another possibility is that the cell already contains the DRV (design rule
    violation), and that the design rule checker hasn't been run on the cell
    yet. (This can happen if the cell was layed out with :drc off, or if the
    cell was designed using a different techfile).  You can check this by
    placing the box around the entire layout, and running the command :drc
    check.

    Actually, I would prefer if you directly e-mail me the .mag file(s) which
    has the DRV, and the Magic techfile (scmos.tech27 or whatever you are
    using). Then I can load exactly what you have and investigate where the
    DRV is coming from.
